Clayton County needs to get rid of the crooked CEO/Fire Chief Alex Cohilas. He only cares about his political aspirations and cares nothing about Clayton County. He skims money off the boot drives at the Fire Department to fund his combat challenge team and their competitions. Citizens of the county think they are giving to charities when in reality a HUGE portion of this money he is STEALING. 2 years ago when a young recruit died just after qualifying to be a firefighter, he was HEARD telling another one of his boys "that wimp would have never made it in this department anyway" then he had the nerve to fake some tears and go speak to the young man's mother. He will ROT in hell for his actions one day. He went and jumped ranks in the fire department from a Lt. to Fire Chief?? and now he is this county's CEO as well? He paid someone on the Commission for that job. It is time the citizens demand Cohilas be accountable for these actions. He is nothing but a CROOK.

If the public would really look, and I do mean take an interest and really look past the "appearance" given by the Fire Department management, none of the puppet regime would have a job very long. The fire chief got to where he is by destroying the careers of two good men, and having Charlie Griswell do it for him. Asst. Chief Hood's mother used to be Charlies secretary when he was chairman. Charlie hired Crandle Bray as county manager, and the appointment was obviously payback when Charlie wanted Cohilas to be chief when Crandle was chairman. This whole mess is crooked as a dogs leg. I wish the grand jury could look into the fire dept and the qualifications of its managerial staff. You really have to talk to the rank and file out in the fire stations about the "real" morale without any chief officers around. Missing money, incompetence, arrogance, lies, and etc., etc. That's the "New" fire department.

Never trust a man with two last names. The new asst. fire chief has nada for leadership experience. He left the line to work in the office and has never been in charge of anything, except the I.T. guy and a secretary. Went from firefighter to Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and now Asst. Chief without ever having to test or prove himself for anything. Just another example of the "good old boy" promotions that Cohilas claims to have been against when the Fraternal Order was established. Oh well, the new Asst. Chief sure looks pretty with his spiked hair and preppy sunglasses when he does the P.I.O. for the media.

Having a good fire department is all about training. Has anyone taken a good look at the training personnel they have now? The Captain in charge of EMS was fired by the state, lies about everything, and walks around like a peacock. His boss has the personality of a round flat river rock, and the other personnel for the most part have no credibility with experienced firefighters. How can a 3 year employee tell a 20 year veteran how to do their job??? But, they are all on the combat challenge team and they get to go places like Las Vegas and its entered in the payroll as Training...... Of course the official word from the mountain is that it is all volunteer, but, all training personnel are required to participate with the "team". Cohilas likes to think he's Vince Lombardi. He's not that good of an athlete, but he sure is a good "athletic supporter".

Why only stop with only Cohilas ?
It would take a Oil Tanker to hold enough Tar to Feathered down these Clayton Officials and the racist pigs who voted them in office.

I agree it will take a LOT of tar for this group of pigs... but I want to see Cohilas get what he deserves. Not only has he cheated his way into both his positions, he is sooo arrogant and thinks he is above the law. He has it coming though... and I will be front and center when it is handed to him. It's "personal" with me and Cohilas. And the truth will be coming in a court of law in Clayton County...

Since Cohilas was hired to do Bell's job, why just eliminate Bell's job and make the Clayton County CEO an elected position ?

Recently a firefighter was denied a promotion because he didn't lick their boots. He was qualified, the position was there and he was next on the list. After he appealed to the Civil Service board, and hired a lawyer, low and behold they offer him the promotion on the condition that he drop the lawsuit. Amazing isn't it. Cohilas wants to be "king". He has convinced the other commissioners that he grew up in the ghetto. He's nothing but a thug who learned a few big words while he "clerked" for the lawyer who ruined Chief Guice. And, so are the people he's promoted to his "elite staff".....

Ya'll have good luck on going after these fools in Jonesboro, while I try to go after the Sheepeople Herders of The Democratic Slave Plantation in this county.

This week is the Hail and Farewell for Cohilas as far as the Fire Department goes. The tumor may be gone, but the cancer is still there. Its so appropriate that the "event" falls on the Halloween weekend. He leaves behind a legacy that will take years to get over. Sadly, there will be a bunch of leeches, dressed in costumes, trying to act like Chief Officers. Lets hope and pray that they run out of rope fairly quickly. for everybody's sake. If the commissioners were smart (which they are not), they would request a grand jury investigation before appointing a new chief. The paper trail is still there, but its getting cold. Cohilas says he moving on to bigger and better things. He leaves behind an organization that is only a shadow of its former self. It looks good on paper, but no one has really talked to the "troops" to find out what its really like. His successors will lay praise and adolations at his feet. They will talk about his insight and dedication, and what a wonderful leader he was. Of course they will. He promoted all of them, not because they were qualified, but because they were absolute "YES" men. They stroked his ego and he rewarded them.

Well, looks like all the puppets bowed before the emperor on Friday, and did as they should. Sadly though, the tumor is gone, but the cancer is still there in the fire department. Lets see now.....If he is still the chief of staff, then the salary he was drawing as fire chief plus whatever the commissioners added (I think it was $10K), will be put into another complete job that was created just for him. Chairman Bell, you'd better watch your back. You're the next target for him to eliminate. He wants a new kingdom, all to himself.

This county is run by thugs; Give in to this fact and there is nothing that law abiding citizens can do, except to move.
